small amount of information about William is this:
-
The family bible has a record of his birth and death.
-
Susan Sparhawk, Williams mother, mentions her 'grandson Howard'.
-
The photograph shows William beside a beautiful lady, her name is Marion Florence.
-
Howard must be the third child from the same generation as Charles Taylor and
Ashton Sparhawk.
-
A letter from Clarence Fisk (dated 04-17-1939) to the Newton Cemetery states that William left a son.
-
There is a simple pencil written contract between Charles D.B. and the A.L. Walker Monument Manufacturers, for a 'granite tombstone of the finest quality'. It states that the name be:
William F. Fisk-- 1878 - 1914.
I wrote to the Newton Cemetery in Boston and they have responded that Marion Florence died
in May 26,1942 in Lexington. William died of neumonia and left her a young widow with son Howard. She later married
Mr. Pratt. She is buried beside William in the Newton Cemetry lot. Charles D.B. Fisk is also
in that lot.
