Mr. Fisk was widely known in Greater Boston, having served two years in the State senate and two in the House of Representatives. He was a native of Hookset, NH., and in 1874 married Susan Elizabeth Greenwood, niece and adopted daughter of Mrs. Edward C. Sparhawk, a prominent old resident of Elko street, Brighton. The Fisk family made their home for many years on Sparhawk street, corner of Elko street.

Mr. Fisk was a former president of the Citizens Mutual Insurance Co. and the Massachusetts Plate Glass Insurance Co. At Lima he was with his so, Clarence A. Fisk, the representative of the Wonalancet Co. of Boston.

While living in this district Mr. Fisk built many of the houses on Mapleton street and did much to develop that section. He was president of the old Citizen's Improvement Association.

The remains were brought here for burial in the family lot in Newton Cemetery, where committal services were held Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
